Poor Niall Horan. Despite being a part of the world's biggest boyband, One Direction, the 18-year-old blonde heart-throb was almost left out of bandmate Liam Payne's 19th birthday party on Saturday night thanks to a bouncer who didn't recognise who he was.
After Liam arrived at the Funky Buddha nightclub in London with glamorous girlfriend Danielle Peazer, 1D pal Niall and two friends were stopped by a doorman refusing them entry to the club.
According to the Daily Mirror, the bouncer had to call the club manager to confirm the Irish singer's identity. Being the down-to-earth guy Niall is, he smiled for the paparazzi while waiting for the manager to arrive and let him in.
No such troubles for the band's most popular member — Harry Styles (aka Mister Bed Hair). He got into the exclusive party without a hitch.
Birthday boy bandmate Liam let his hair down enjoying a Batman-themed cake arranged by his dancer girlfriend, and spraying a bottle of champagne on unsuspecting friends.
Liam, whose actual birthday is tomorrow, tweeted his gratitude to his lucky squeeze for organising the party.
"Can't believe today Danielle arranged me a surprise party, had all my friends down what a great day, will show you pictures of my cakeyyy xx," he tweeted on Monday.
At the weekend, the boys wrapped up filming their new clip for the upcoming single 'Live While We're Young'.
