The TV host and grandmother of the bride opened up about Taylor's behaviour on the US Today show.
She confirmed mother of the bride Vicky Gifford Kennedy's claims that Taylor and Conor were asked to leave Kyle Kennedy's wedding twice — but turned a blind eye.
"The truth is, Vicki's account of what happened in Boston is accurate," she said.
Kathie Lee explained Conor had not RSVPd to the wedding invitation (sent out months in advance) but called an hour before to ask, "Can I bring my girlfriend [Taylor]?"
"[Vicki] said very nicely, 'Please do not come,'" revealed Kathie.
"They came anyway."
It seems Taylor could be so used to appearing at the top of the guest list, she's totally baffled at the prospect of being unwelcome!
The singer's rep denied Vicki's claims, saying "There is no truth to that. Taylor was invited to the wedding and the bride thanked her profusely for being there."
