We could joke about the fact that Kristen is reportedly feeling antsy about this but it's pretty understandable given she had an affair with her 41-year-old Snow White director Rupert Sanders.
"Kristen is very, very nervous about Robert's interview with [Daily Show presenter] Jon Stewart on Monday," a source told Radar Online.
The 26-year-old actor is meant to be promoting his new flick Cosmopolis (which opens in the US on Friday) but that's pretty much the last thing people want to hear right now.
We want to know about the 26-year-old's ailing heart, how he's been inconsolable since news of K-Stew's affair broke, how they'll never repair the damage that's been done…
Rob is notoriously tight-lipped when it comes to his private affairs but Kristen's worried that Jon will manage to squeeze some juice out of the guy.
"She's confident that Robert, who has always been such a private person about his personal life, will keep quiet over the cheating scandal," said Radar's source.
"But she does have some concerns that Stewart might poke fun at the situation in an attempt to get Robert to open up."
If Jon succeeds (and we secretly hope he does!), this is sure to be the biggest celeb TV interview of the year.
Move over BBC — your 26.3 million-strong Olympic closing ceremony audience is about to get smashed in the ratings.
Well, not quite, but R-Pattz is sure to pull in a few million scandal-loving viewers.
Details of Robert's Daily Show interview have already started to leak, with the actor reportedly cracking jokes about Kristen's affair!
Life & Style magazine claims Jon started the interview by giving Robert a tub of Ben and Jerry's ice cream, saying, "Let's talk about this man-to-man."
He then quipped, "The world has ended!" to which R-Pattz reportedly replied, "It has! That was my attempt at a joke."
According to the mag, Jon then told the Cosmopolis star, "You're better off without her. Kick her to the curb!"
More details to come.
