The actor was dating Juliette Lewis when he completed two courses with Tom Cruise's church of choice in 1991 and 1993.
But according to a new book by former high-ranking church official, the religion may have been too controversial for Brad's liking.
In 'Scientology — Abuse at the Top', author Amy Scobee claims, "In the end, Brad didn't think it was for him and he and Juliette broke up."
But the church didn't give up so easily.
"He was high on the church list president's list of stars they felt could be 'recovered'," claims Amy.
Obviously, they "felt" wrong.
But Brad's not the only big name celebrity who considered joining the Scientologists.
Lisa Marie Presley, Christopher Reeve, Cher's ex Sonny Bono and Ricky Martin are just some of the big names who either thought about practicing or practiced the religion before leaving the church.
Will Smith, Kirstie Alley, singer Beck, John Travolta and of course, Tom Cruise are all Scientologists.
