The little dog, called Darcy, has been dyed for a campaign to raise money for Breast Cancer Research. Emma was helping the owner by taking the bubblegum Bichon Frise out for a walk.
"Just to clarify one more time that I don't have a dog," Emma wrote on her Twitter.
"@PinkDarcyDog is pink because her owner is raising money for breast cancer."
Little Darcy has her own Twitter (well obviously someone else is writing for her) to help push the campaign to raise £10,000 ($15,000) for the foundation.
The campaign page ensures that Groom Dog City, where Darcy was dyed, only uses a beetroot-based vegetable dye which is completely harmless on little Darcy.
