The 33-year-old actress and radio presenter said that Chris always had "star quality" while the pair were working together for three out of the 20 years that Kate played Sally Fletcher on Home and Away.
"I don't think there was ever any doubt he was going to make it because … look at him. He's a movie star," she told The Herald Sun.
"And I know it sounds corny but not only is he gorgeous on the outside, he's gorgeous on the inside as well."
Chris appeared on the soap as Kim Hyde after being rejected by the producers for the role of Robbie Hunter, which went to Jason Smith. During his time on the show, Chris was awarded 'Most Popular New Male Talent' at the 2005 Logie Awards, before departing the show in 2007 to focus on his film career.
Chris stars in the new movie Snow White and the Huntsman, out now. His co-star Kristen Stewart also thinks he's pretty awesome, check out what she had to say about her Aussie leading man when she spoke to TheFIX this week.
