To feed and support her litter of 14, Nadya made an attempt to return to her roots, stripping for the first time since her early twenties. But after hearing the opinions of her future co-workers, she cancelled believing they were talking smack about her.
"[She has] a lot of mouths to feed so it was only a matter of time," said the T’s Lounge’s bartender in an interview with local television news WPEC12.
"She must be a little crazy. Normal people don’t have that many children."
Octo also got upset by an interview with one of the club's managers after she indicated that the mega-mum might do more than just take off her top.
"We don't require them to do anything that they don't wanna do ... but she will be on stage, she will be going topless and down to the thong," said the manager, adding, "Maybe after a few shows, [when] she's more comfortable we'll see more?"
Nadya's representative, Gina Rodriguez, confirmed Octomom was withdrawing from the performance due to the comments.
"There isn't any more to say about it, other than that gig was cancelled due to them talking poorly about her," Gina said.
