Christian Bale's former publicist has made a series of shocking allegations about The Dark Knight Rises star's cruel behaviour in a tell-all book about his life.
Harrison Cheung claims he had "five years of therapy to get past my Bale years" after working for the star, adding that he was never paid (except for getting a computer).
Christian's attitude toward fans was a real sticking point, Harrison reveals in Christian Bale: The Inside Story of the Darkest Batman. He would allegedly "lecture little girls about being rude and intrusive until tears streamed down their faces, and their parents tugged them away from our table."
Sounds like something the Joker would do!
In another disturbing incident, Christian received a fan letter at his Manhattan home, and allegedly sent his publicist a fax saying the fan should be "eliminated".
According to Harrison, he wrote: "Better to be safe than sorry. A screwdriver thrust thru the eyeball into the brain prevents any screaming. Let me know how it goes."
Again, it sounds like something out of The Dark Knight. On that topic, Harrison notes that Christian didn't go to co-star Heath Ledger's funeral.
Whether the claims are true or not, the Welsh-born actor is known for his temper. Remember that infamous expletive-ridden rant on the set of Terminator Salvation? And the arrest in 2008 for allegedly assaulting his mother and sister during a domestic dispute?
Christian, who has a daughter with wife Sandra "Sibi" Blazic, has not commented yet about the allegations.
