Madeleine Thérèse Amelie Josephine aka Princess Madeleine, Duchess of Hälsingland and Gästrikland
The Paparazzi Princess
Best known for:
Her stunning good looks, her party-girl nature, the foiled 2002 kidnap attempt by Eastern European terrorist groups and the fact that she is a paparazzi honey pot.
Best royal scandal:
Just a few years ago the youngest of three was best known for her party-girl ways. The Swedish newspaper Expressen
reported at the time that the royal family's advisers were trying to calm her down a little. It seems to have worked. These days an older, more astute Princess spends most of her time studying, completing internships at the UN and working for her mother, Queen Silvia's foundation World Childhood Foundation.
Why she's hot:
With her blond hair and sparkling blue eyes the Princess is the embodiment of a Nordic-princess fantasy.
What's the catch:
The paparazzi love her. In the past they've been known to follow her wherever she goes so much so that she was forced to leave her studies in London when the harassment became too intense. If you enjoy being constantly blinded by flashbulbs and having people rifle through your rubbish then this is the princess for you. If not, you may want to reconsider.
Royal watchers have long waited in anticipation for a union between Prince William and Princess Madeline. We hope they are not holding their breath as they may turn blue. In the past Madeline has been linked to Swedes Erik Granath and Jonas Bergström who reportedly ended up in fisticuffs over the princess at Stockholm club, Kharma in 2003 as well as son of Swedish industrialist Pierre Ladow and Daniel Collert.
