Re-united Spices already fighting?
Mon 15/10/07

Sure, it is purely rumour, but be assured that any hint of a scragfight between the currently reforming Spice Girls will be reported here on The Fix.
The ladies haven’t even set foot on their Spice Force One private jet for the world reunion tour and already the Daily Mail is reporting that Geri Halliwell is trying to position herself as the group’s creative genius.
The tabloid claims that Posh, Scary and Sporty are not happy with Geri because she is apparently claiming that the group’s upcoming comeback single 'Headlines (Friendship Never Ends)' was largely the work of herself and equally questionable songwriting genius Baby Spice.
The Daily Mail reports an unnamed source close to the group as saying, 'Geri is making it clear to all who listen that she wrote it with Emma Bunton and the others added their lyrics much later.'
One suspects that once the world is actually allowed to hear the single and it is universally panned, that Geri will then be claiming that it was actually Posh who wrote it.
Ms Halliwell first left the group in 1998 after missing several Spice Girls shows, citing 'differences' and embarking on a moderately successful solo career.
We'll get to hear her newest songwriting triumph when 'Headlines...' is released on November 19.
