Well, the short answer — make that the entire answer — is he's "good".
Yep, that's all Tom managed to blurt out to TMZ reporters when they questioned the 50-year-old as to how he's been faring since Katie Holmes filed for divorce last month.
It seems Tom's a lot more comfortable playing it up for the paps when his 6-year-old daughter Suri is around to lap up the attention.
The actor was all smiles when the two reunited a couple of weeks ago after having spent a month apart.
Mind you, what else is Tom going to say other than he's "good"? Obviously not "crash hot" given he's going through the mess of a third divorce.
Oh, and then there's those reports that Katie's already started dating.
The 33-year-old was spotted eating out with a mystery man in New York over the weekend before planting a big fat one (on his cheek) and telling reporters her night had been "great"!
Ouch. A month later and already moving on.
