The full-frontal shot, above, shows a young man with a tattoo of a bird on his hip — the same ink as the 18-year-old 'Boyfriend' singer.
"Yesterday during the show, me and my tour manager Josh had some stuff stolen. Really sucks. People should respect other's property," Justin tweeted earlier today.
He added: "I had a lot of personal footage on that computer and camera and that is what bothers me the most. #lame #norespect".
Justin's people have not commented on the photo — possibly because it's a fake with a capital F.
Beliebers have leapt to the singer's defence, some claiming his belly button and nipples are different to the poser in the photo. Plus, the bird-on-hip tatt could very well be a photoshop job.
"The JB nudes are fake and from a long time ago. It's not him. Yes his laptop + camera were stolen but that is NOT him. Stop starting stuff," wrote one fan on Tumblr.
Earlier this week, police swarmed Justin's house in Los Angeles after a prank caller claimed a gunman was on site. It happened the same night as Justin's computer and camera burglary.
