The ex-husband of the late Whitney Houston was booked after allegedly clocking a blood alcohol reading above the 0.08 limit, after originally being pulled over for allegedly chatting on his mobile while driving, police told TMZ.
The 43-year-old singer, who has a history of both alcohol and drug abuse, and is often blamed for Whitney's own substance abuse battles, was held at Van Nuys jail in the San Fernando Valley for little more than two hours before being bailed out by his "people".
Cops told TMZ that "Brown was drunk" at the time of his arrest.
He already has a DUI conviction from an arrest in 1996.
Bobby has been back in the spotlight since Whitney's death on February 11.
She was found to have cocaine, amongst other drugs, in her system when she died.
