Jennifer Aniston was reportedly pretty darn peeved when she read what Brad Pitt had said about their five year marriage, which ended in 2005. In a recent interview with Parade, Brad said he “wasn't living an interesting life” before he met his current partner Angelina Jolie, and with Jen he was “trying to pretend my marriage was something that it wasn't”.
So what did Jen think when she got wind of what he'd said? “She was annoyed,” a friend close to the Horrible Bosses actress tells Us Weekly. “She thought it was rude and inappropriate.”
Her agent and publicists apparently “went ballistic” at Brad's publicity team and “Brad was read the riot act”.
Within 24 hours, he had released a statement describing Jen as “an incredibly giving, loving and hilarious woman.”
Still, a source close to the actor says, “No one believes his words were taken out of context - he said what he said. I do hear that he’s remorseful.”
“We think he’s jealous she’s in love,” the source adds.
