Jennifer Aniston has rushed to be with her mother at a Los Angeles hospital, after the 75-year-old suffered a stroke over the weekend.
According to the Mail Online, Jen's mum, Nancy Dow, is said to be in a serious condition.
Jen was accompanied to the hospital by her new boyfriend, Justin Theroux, but according to sources, he stayed outside while Jen visited her mum alone.
According to the Mail Online, Nancy, a former model, is believed to be unable to speak.
A neighbour of Nancy's told the website that she wasn't aware Jen's mum had any prior health problems and said: "She's in the hospital. She's fabulous, a very nice lady. She's also very private."
A spokesperson for Jennifer declined to comment on her mum's condition, telling the Mail Online: "This is a private family matter."
Jen and her mum were famously estranged for more than 10 years after Nancy gave a tell-all interview about their relationship in 1996.
She also wrote a book titled: From Mother and Daughter To Friends: A Memoir about their problems, blaming Jen for their troubled relationship.
But the rift between mum and daughter ended in 2008, with Jen telling the New York Post at the time: "It's good. It's OK. Things are fine between us. All of that is over, and we're in touch with one another. We speak, and it's all over."
