Brooke, 33, checked into rehab after refusing to take a court-ordered drug test last week. There were reports that she was seen selling her belongings in a pawn shop, allegedly buying $150 worth of coke, and, dodgiest of all, phoning friends and begging them to give her samples of their drug-free urine so she could try to fool the court.
After a weekend coke binge, and after failing to procure any drug-free wee samples from her friends (or realising she didn't have any drug-free friends) Sheen's soon-to-be-ex wife decided the best thing to do was to check in to rehab. So now Charlie wants custody of their two-year-old boys.
“Charlie has had enough with her excuses, period,” a source tells Radar. “Brooke refused to take a random drug test. Charlie’s attorney will use that as evidence that the boys are better off with him than with Brooke.”
But not only is Charlie a little bit on the crazy side himself these days, he's on the road with his Torpedo of Truth tour until May 3.
“The last place the twins should be is in a different hotel rooms every night,” a source from Brooke's camp says. “Toddlers need love, continuity, and stability. They have that with Brooke’s extended family in Los Angeles.”
