How much will the Beliebers pay for a lock of Justin's hair?

When Ellen DeGeneres's birthday was approaching, she tweeted that she had one simple wish: a lock of Justin Bieber's hair. The 16-year-old tweeted back that she was getting her gift – and now that precious lock is up for auction on ebay!

After his much-talked about trim last week, Justin presented Ellen with a few precious strands of his hair, telling her, "I'm giving pieces of it to different people. We're doing something special. We want you to donate it to whatever charity you want."

Ellen put the hair up for auction on ebay, with all proceeds going to the California animal rescue organisation The Gentle Barn.

Bidding started at $10 and after just two days it's already hit $7000... and there's still five days to go.

As for whether any of the people bidding on the hair actually have enough money in their piggy banks to pay for it, we'll see about that.

$7000 is a lot of money. But the shipping is free!
