Newly sober Lindsay Lohan is getting a fresh start on the outside, starting with a new place to live – right next door to her ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson.
Lilo has ditched her old West Hollywood apartment for a new four bedroom house in Venice Beach just metres from her ex, who lives in an identical pad next door.
But Sam didn't exactly roll out the welcome wagon when Lindsay arrived with her dad to help her move in.
“Samantha walked out of the building next door,” a source tells UsMagazine.com. “She was shaking her head and looking disgusted. She kept saying, ‘I didn’t plan it this way.’”
When photographers asked her if she'd made any New Year's resolutions, she replied, “No I'm too p--sed off right now.”
Still, she may not have to put up with the 'neighbour from hell' for long. Lindsay could be heading back to jail after police were notified of a violent scuffle with an employee at the Betty Ford Centre in December.
"The investigation determined Ms. Lohan violated several aspects of her probation, including the battery [charge]," the Palm Desert Police Department said in a press release on Monday, adding that they plan to notify her probation officer.
An infringement of her probation could very well mean giving up that nice house to go back to jail in 2011.
