Xtina spent some time touring the refugee camps and performing a free concert for children in Port–au-Prince as part of her role as a UN Goodwill Ambassador.
That's very admirable, but unfortunately she didn't leave the diva demands behind in LA.
UN staff say the suddenly camera-shy singer chucked a huge tantrum because there were "too many photographers" following her around. There were three. And they were all employed by the UN to record her trip for publicity reasons.
"Christina seemed to think she was being papped when in fact we were just doing our job for the UN," an insider on the tour tells CelebrityFIX.
Christina gave the UN's videographer the boot, leaving only the still photographers to record her trip. Kind of defeats the purpose, right?
Robbie Williams was another star to display diva-like qualities when he visited Haiti recently. The UK singer had his minders walk ahead of him to check for dead bodies wherever he went ...because "Robbie can't see dead people".
But the unlikely Hollywood hero of the earthquake-ravaged nation is Sean Penn. Despite his recent troubles with the law after karate kicking a photographer, Sean is currently living in a tent in Port-au-Prince and directing a team managing a tent city of 50,000 people!
"He's a total down and dirty hero," says one aid worker.
