Twilight star in nude photo scandal

If Twilight actress Ashley Greene was looking for a way to get some R-Pattz level media attention, she's found it. What better way to stand out from the rest of the cast than to define yourself as "the nude one"?

Naked pictures released on the internet and suspected to be of Ashley have been confirmed as the real deal after the 22-year-old threatened legal action against any website that published the pics.

"The photos in question, which appear to be of our client, are illegal and are being unlawfully displayed. Our client intends to take legal action," her attorney said in a statement.

Ashley, who plays Alice Cullen in the vampire movie series, hasn't made a comment about the photos, but she's not exactly laying low and avoiding creating any more juicy headlines either... The star was spotting pashing Gossip Girl actor Chace Crawford yesterday — the morning after the Teen Choice awards.

A source tells E! Online, "Ashley and Chace have known each other for a while. They used to hook up actually back when he lived in LA. It was never anything too serious. It was before either of them were famous. They stayed good friends."
