Pill popping and bulimia: Britney's dodgy diet secrets

Just when we thought Britney Spears was on the road to recovery, reports have surfaced that she's not as healthy as she seems.

You may remember that around the time Brit got her marbles back she also got her hot body back… and fast. But it turns out she didn't regain that famous washboard tummy from a healthy mix of diet and exercise. The sudden transformation was thanks to a medley of diet pills and post-dinner purging, claims Star Magazine.

They say Britney is using a drug called Topamax, an anti-seizure medication that also suppresses the appetite. Anna Nicole Smith had Topamax (also known as Dopamax because it makes users seem spaced out) in her system when she died.

"She downs like 15 pills every morning from vitamins to painkillers to the pills she needs to function mentally, like Xanax and Valium as well as Topamax," a source told the magazine.

"Everyone thinks she still throws up when she's eaten too much, both at home and at restaurants," the source adds. "You can smell it in the bathroom."
