Sophie debuted her healthier new look during a promotional trip back home to promote Hollywood Fashion Shapes knickers, looking a million bucks despite still being the down-to-earth, self-deprecating Gold Coast girl we first came to love on Popstars.
Declaring she was a lot more 'happy' these days following her breakup with fiance Benji Madden, as well as deciding she was a "dud" in bed, Sophie's interviews Down Under have been positive and colourful - but have taught us a thing or two about the fame game.
Speaking about relocating to LA a few years ago, she remarked that "I landed there on my own with nothing, knowing no one - like starting from scratch.
"I'm glad I stayed and went through the tough times and that kind of thing.
"I've made it look very easy but it's been a lot harder than that."
Indeed - all we've seen of her since are shots of her looking hot in movies, canoodling with her ex, and working out. A Lot.
It looks like we haven't lost Sophie to the LA skin-and-bones club just yet, though - but we'd hardly say she needs a pair of Hollywood Fashion Shapes knickers with a bod like that!
