Tan Mom wants to pose for Playboy, gets her own action figure

Everyone's favourite mum of the moment, 44-year-old tanning salon addict Patricia Krentcil, aka 'Tan Mom', wants to capitalise on her newfound fame by showing off her bronzed bits — sans clothes.

TMZ asked the brassy blonde whether she'd consider baring all for Playboy magazine. Her response, as you'll see above, is practically an audition for a cover spread.

Yelping "Of course! I love it!", she lifts her skirt to show off those carrot-coloured pins with a decidedly pale friend by her side. Will Playboy take up the offer?

The tanorexic mum, who was accused of taking her five-year-old to a tanning salon, is also considering reality TV offers.

As her star rises, the New Jersey mum already has an action figure devoted to her unique look.

A US toy company, HeroBuilders, has started selling the eerily lifelike doll to make a quick buck.

"This is our first ugly doll," Emil Vicale, president of HeroBuilders, told NBC. "Maybe this is a new genre for us!"

She's a steal at US$29.95.
